Duck Head in the Big Apple: A Weekend at Alfargo's Marketplace

Hunter Pickett

This past weekend, we packed our bags and headed to New York City to team up with the guys at Alfargo’s Marketplace, a gathering of vintage dealers, independent brands, collectors, and menswear enthusiasts. Their summer series was set against the waterfront at The Seaport NYC and was the perfect backdrop to bring decades of Duck Head Vintage into the heart of New York’s menswear scene.

Inside Alfargo's

If you’re a menswear aficionado or aspiring to be, Alfargo’s is one of those New York happenings worth knowing about. Vendors lined the pier under tents, lively music played throughout the day keeping the vibes high, and the crowd moved from booth to booth digging through an ever-changing mix of new, used, and vintage clothing. It was equal parts marketplace and hangout—a place to discover something good, talk shop, and spend the day with people who care about the stories behind what they wear. Needless to say, when the opportunity came to bring Duck Head into the mix, we knew we had to be there.

Old Meets New

We showed up with a curated assortment of Duck Head Vintage, pieces pulled from decades past that tell a story all their own, alongside our new Fall ’26 collection. Seeing the old and new alike hanging together felt right at home at Alfargo’s Marketplace. The details may evolve, but the good stuff has a way of sticking around.

More Than Menswear

We came to share a little piece of Duck Head, but the people made the weekend. Between swapping stories about vintage finds and Duck Head history—and tossing a football through the crowd—it didn’t take long to feel like we were among old friends. Seeing vintage Duck Heads alongside our Fall ’26 collection, and in the hands of a new generation, was a reminder that the good stuff has a way of carrying forward. 160 years later, we’re still making ’em like we mean it. Thanks to the Alfargo’s crew and everyone who came out.

Until next time, New York.
